An independent artist from Japan, raising Chill / Hip-Hop / R&B music out of reality.

Two New Singles Still, I Be… / KanDo T-ACT × KONOMI / T-ACT — 2026.07.23 Release

Two perspectives from the same date: one returning inward through anxiety and heartbeat, the other finding sensitivity and action in the city.

By day, building structure.
By night, leaving its weight in sound.

Neither escape nor fantasy.
Minimal, chill music born from reality.

T-ACT / STATEMENT

Memory fades.
It becomes uncertain.
So the question is how to leave it behind.

This is not for success or approval.
It is a record of thoughts and moments born within reality.

Genba Kantoku 現場監督 / Site Supervisor

The responsibility of someone who keeps a job site moving from morning onward, without attention or applause. A quiet record of weight that cannot be measured by popularity, and the reality of those who hold things up from behind the scenes.

Saiteigi 再定義 / Redefinition

A work that reconsiders the meaning of expression after fulfilling the responsibilities society requires. It quietly asks whether everything dismissed as surplus is truly something that can be thrown away.

Zanchi cover art

Zanchi 残置 / Left Behind

A work that quietly retrieves the outline of emotions left behind beneath an ordered daily life. Without adding too many words, it lets only the lingering trace of memory rise to the surface.

Iine cover art

Iine いいね / Like

A track about holding on to one’s own inner sense in an age where reaction itself appears to decide value. It carries the will to protect one’s inner temperature without being swallowed by praise or indifference.

Kaniana cover art

Kaniana 蟹穴 / Crab Hole

Not a retreat from the world, but a place to preserve one’s outline and keep standing. The view from a small hole reveals a person’s philosophy and way of life.

Baton cover art

Baton

A restrained piece about responsibility, expectation, and prayer inherited without becoming words. It treats that weight not as spectacle, but as a quiet force that keeps moving forward.

Min-i cover art

Min-i 民意 / Public Will

A cold, deliberate work that questions the boundary between what is visible and what people are made to believe in a climate where numbers and intensity are treated as truth.

Rain in Your Eyes cover art

Rain in Your Eyes

A chill ballad that keeps walking through blurred vision, carrying loss without turning it into spectacle. It holds both the quiet after loss and the faint will to stand again.

Sweet & Bitter cover art
2025

Sweet & Bitter

A piece that accepts complexity, where sweetness and bitterness coexist within the same breath. The slight friction inside its comfort reflects the sensibility of T-ACT.

PROFILE

T-ACT profile photo

T-ACT is an independent music artist based in Japan, releasing works rooted in Chill, Hip-Hop, R&B, and minimal, introspective sounds.

Music is not for success or approval.
It exists to leave behind, as a record, the thoughts and moments born within reality.

From a position that faces real structures and responsibilities every day,
T-ACT records even silence and friction as music.

The lyrics do not over-explain. Rather than describing emotion directly,
they value what remains as traces and space.
Room is intentionally left for the listener to lay their own experience into the work.

Valuing continuity over spectacle, and lived sense over correct answers,
T-ACT continues to create and release work from an independent position.
